Derivado da palavra ‘Maka’ (problema/s), MAKONGO é o nome do novo projecto de SP & Wilson, dois elementos importantes no panorama no beatbox em Portugal, e Petty (a voz de ‘Yah’, dos Buraka Som Sistema). Nos Makongo, surgem ainda acompanhados pelos DJ Knowledge.
O álbum intitulado “ANGOLAN KUNG FU” é uma mistura de estilos variados, desde a forte presença do Kuduro, e do Hiphop, mas também com pinceladas de R&B Funk e House music.
Álbum produzido inteiramente por SP, leva o ouvinte a viajar por um mundo recentemente criado, onde o Kuduro e o Hip Hop se misturam de forma incandescente, dando assim a nascença de uma sonoridade unica que os Makongo nos trazem.
